A charging post (603) and smart traffic system. The charging post (603) comprises: a charging plug (101) connected to a charging power source; a network module (102) configured to establish a network connection; and a communication control module (103) configured to establish a wireless connection to an in-car apparatus (601) configured in a vehicle, establish a network connection to a scheduling center (602) via the network module (102), receive real-time information collected by the in-car apparatus (601), transmit the real-time information to the scheduling center (602), receive a control command generated according to the real-time information or traffic condition information by the scheduling center (602), and transmit the control information to the in-car apparatus (601) to enable the in-car apparatus (601) to realize vehicle control by executing the control instruction. Therefore, the embodiment fully utilizes the charging post (603) and increases a utilization rate of the charging post (603).
