Abstract:
Provided is a charging robot for autonomously moving to a position in which an electric car is parked, automatically docking with a charging connector of the electric car, and charging same, solely on the basis of a simple order from the driver. The charging robot is a charging robot for charging an electric car, the charging robot comprising: a case; an electric energy storage device disposed inside the case; a docking device disposed inside the case, electrically connected to the electric energy storage device, and configured to dock with a charging port or a charging connector of the electric car; and a position sensor for sensing a feature point and thereby producing position information regarding the position of the charging port or the charging connector of the electric car. The charging robot is characterized in that same moves according to the position information, and the docking device is driven according to the position information.
