Abstract:
This charging system charges a battery of an electric vehicle by means of a charging device, the charging system comprising: a video acquiring unit that acquires a video of the periphery of the electric vehicle; a video authorizing unit that performs a video authorization process for authorizing a user on the basis of the video acquired by the video acquiring unit; a determining unit that, on the basis of the result of the video authorization process by the video authorizing unit, determines whether to set a connection between a connector of the charging device and an inlet of the electric vehicle to a locked state or an unlocked state; and a control unit that, on the basis of the determination result by the determining unit, controls a locking unit for locking the connection between the connector and the inlet.
