Abstract:

Provided are a charging system and method, said charging system comprising a voltage conversion circuit (01), a control circuit (02), an input port (Vin), and an output port (Vout); the voltage conversion circuit (01) and the control circuit (02) are separately connected to M batteries, the input port (Vin) is connected to an external power supply, and the output port (Vout) is connected to a load (3); the control circuit (02) is used for switching the connection relationship of the M batteries so as to connect at least one of the M batteries to the voltage conversion circuit (01), the connection relationship comprising at least one of series or parallel; the voltage conversion circuit (01) connects to the input port (Vin) and the output port (Vout) and is used for receiving power from the external power source by means of the input port (Vin), charges at least one battery, and is also used for supplying power to the load (3) by means of the output port (Vout). By means of switching the connection relationship of the battery in an electronic device, it is possible to improve the flexibility of battery charging and discharging, which is conducive to improving the battery life of the electronic device.
