Abstract:
Provided is a charging system that effectively stimulates the user to use a store. The charging system (1) comprises: a charging power supply unit (11) for supplying electric power to and charging a battery provided in an electric vehicle (E); a merchandise sales management unit (17) for managing merchandise sold in a store equipped with the charging system (1); and a control unit (15) for calculating the battery charging fee charged to the user of the electric vehicle (E). The control unit (15) calculates the battery charging fee on the basis of the amount of merchandise purchased by the user of the electric vehicle (E) in the store. Particularly, the control unit (15) performs calculation so that as the amount of merchandise purchased by the user increases, the battery charging fee becomes cheaper.
