Title:
CHARGING SYSTEM
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2016/199222
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
According to an embodiment of the present invention, a charging system is equipped with: a plurality of charging units; control devices for controlling the plurality of charging units; and a management device for managing storage cells provided to the plurality of charging units, the cells being divided into a plurality of blocks in units having an arbitrary amount of power. The management device assigns to each of the plurality of blocks any one state among a first state which indicates that the block is not being used by any of the plurality of charging units, a second state which indicates that the block is being used by any of the plurality of charging units, and a third state which indicates that power sufficient for the block to be useable is not currently stored. If among the plurality of charging units there is a first charging unit having a first block to which the first state has been assigned, the management device outputs to the control device a command such that it is possible for the power stored in the first block to be distributed to a second charging unit other than the first charging unit, via a backbone distribution line.
