Abstract:
A bitmap-format chart image for display is generated from form data, and identification layout information allowing identification of the individual line drawings in the chart image is generated for mouse manipulation. Then, by acquiring from said identification layout information identification information corresponding to a point indicated by the mouse cursor on the chart image for display and specifying the series of points indicated by said identification information as a line drawing, the display speed can be increased relative to displaying the multiple line drawings individually by vector drawing, and the line drawings converted to bitmaps in the chart image can be identified by means of the respective identification layout information.
