Description:
A CHASSIS FOR MOBILE MILKING SYSTEMS

Technical Field

The invention is related to a chassis which is developed for the mobile milking systems used in milking of bovine (cattle) and ovine (sheep and goat) animals.

The invention specifically relates to a chassis including a Z shaped leg pipe, which is developed for decreasing the volume of the mobile milking systems and reducing the weight of these systems.

Prior Art

Milking machines are machines which provide milking in a short period of time, by being attached to the teat. By the virtue of the milking machines; milking process is performed without doing any harm to the teat and by massaging the teat of the animal. Milking machines are especially used in big establishments and in areas in which many animals exist. It is very important that the milking machine is used properly. Otherwise, the teats of the animals can be damaged and a drop in the quality of the milk can occur. It is seen that; today, aluminum stainless milk tanks are used in the milking machines. On the other hand, there is an independent electric motor, a pulsator, a claw and a teat cap in the milking machine. Also, pumps which are suitable to the request and in the desired sizes can be found in the milking machine. Milking from the teats is achieved by the vacuum pumps of the milking machine.

Due to the volumes and weight of the mobile milking machines existing today, it is not possible to use them in areas with high altitude where there is no road. Therefore, milking is performed in unhygienic conditions by manually. Being in areas with high altitude is a necessity in order to milk animals such as goats. Mobile milking machines are carried to the area where the animals are located in order to milk the goats rapidly on the location. Big sizes and consequently great weights of the existing machines make it difficult for the farmers to carry the machine to the animal. The farmers can prefer manual milking for this reason. Milking which is performed without machines is not hygienic and also there is a loss of yield in the milk obtained. For the purpose of carrying the milking machines easily, various works have been done and novel products have been developed. One of these studies is the invention in the patent with number EP12813516.7 and with title“A wheelbarrow for a milking machine”. This invention is a wheelbarrow for a milking machine; and there is a support system with wheels and a handle in the wheelbarrow, which can carry the milking machine in order to enable the said wheelbarrow to be moved by a user; here there are at least two sections where the support system is tightly connected to each other and a cavity is defined at least in one of these sections, which can functionally co-operate with the vacuum circuit of the milking machine; the wheelbarrow, wherein the said cavity defines a corresponding vacuum tank for the said milking machine. Although the said invention provides an advantage to the user regarding carrying the milking machine, the user has difficulty performing the milking process in the location of the animal, especially under field conditions because the invention is not efficient in terms of reducing the weight of the machine.

As a result, a development is required to be made in the technical field due to the insufficiency of the existing solutions and also due to the necessity of a chassis which eliminates the disadvantages existing in the prior art, which is developed for mobile milking systems and which provides a reduction in the volume and also the weight of the machine.

Brief Description of the Invention

The present invention relates to a chassis; which fulfills all the requirements mentioned above, eliminates all the disadvantages and provides some additional advantages; which is developed for the mobile milking systems to be used in milking of the bovine and ovine animals.

Building upon prior art; the aim of the invention is to provide an easier manner of carrying ergonomically by the virtue of the Z shaped leg pipe which is used in the developed chassis.

The aim of the invention is to fulfill the necessity of acting as a vacuum tank and provide the needed instant vacuum inside the system, due to the pipes being welded horizontally to the Z shaped leg pipes in the chassis. Another aim of the invention is to make the chassis lighter in weight by fulfilling the vacuum need by the Z shaped leg pipe attached to the chassis and with other pipes that are welded to this pipe.

Another aim of the invention is to provide a more hygienic and easier milking process by enabling the milking machine to be carried easily to any place in which the animal is located, by the virtue of the lighter structure of the chassis.

Structural and characteristical features of the invention, along with its all advantages, shall be better understood in detail by the figures provided below and the detailed description which gives references to these figures; therefore, an evaluation shall be made by taking these figures and detailed description into the account.

Brief Description of the Figures

In order for the structure of the present invention to be understood in the best manner, regulating sleeve along with extra elements and with all of its advantages; it shall be evaluated with regards to the figures described below.

In this detailed description, the chassis (100) of the invention, which is developed for the mobile milking machines used in milking bovine and/or ovine animals, is described merely for the purpose of the subject being better understood in detail and without forming any limitations.

The chassis (100) in Figure 1 , reduces the volume and decreases the weight of the mobile milking machine with the aim of providing an easy and hygienic milking process of the bovine and/or ovine animals on the location. Z bent pipe (101 ) which is located on the said chassis (100) and which provides an easier carrying of the machine ergonomically, carries the connected vacuum pipe (102), intermediate supporting bar (105), label sheet (106) and the carrier arm coupling sleeve (103). The said vacuum pipe (102) is used as vacuum tank and it fulfills the necessity of instant vacuum. Due to the said vacuum pipe (102); the total volume of the mobile milking machine is reduced and the weight of the machine is decreased. The said carrier arm coupling sleeve (103) enables the carrier arms (1 12) to connect. The vacuum exit pipe (104) connected to the said Z bent pipe (101 ) transmits the vacuum coming from the electric motor pump to the mobile milking machine. The said Z bent pipes (101 ) are connected to each other by the intermediate supporting bar (105). Also, a label sheet (106); on which the information regarding the serial numbers of the components of the mobile milking machine, motor power and alike are located, is connected to the said intermediate supporting bar (105). In the said chassis (100), a regulator sleeve (107) for the vacuum regulator to be connected, and a pulsator union (108) for the pulsator to be connected, are located. On the said vacuum pipe (102); an antenna mile (109) onto which the antenna pipe is attached; a compact pipe union (110) onto which the pipe providing the required vacuum for milking into the milk copper vessel is connected and a vacuum clock pipe (1 1 1 ) onto which the vacuum clock used for measuring the vacuum pressure is connected; are located. On the top part of the said chassis (100), a carrier arm (1 12), for the mobile milking machine to be carried to the location in which the bovine and/or ovine animal is, is located.

In the mobile milking machine on which the said chassis (100) is located; the vacuum which is brought into the system from the vacuum exit pipe (104) by the pump controlled by the electric motor reaches the vacuum pipe (102) and the vacuum power is transmitted to the vacuum clock pipe (1 1 1 ), the pulsator union (108), the regulator sleeve (107) and the compact pipe union (110) located here; and the vacuum pressure value is measured, vacuum pressure is set, milking vacuum which is required for the copper vessel is provided and the vacuum required for the pulsator is provided. Due to the carrying arms (1 12) connected to the said Z bent pipe (101 ) and the wheels, the system can easily be moved. The intermediate supporting bar (105) which is welded in between the said Z bent pipes (101 ) and the label sheet (106) show the technical features of the electric motor in the system and also the serial number of the machine. The antenna mile (109) which is welded to the said vacuum pipe (102) acts as an antenna connection point during the complete installation.
