Abstract:
Provided is a check valve structure that can be easily assembled within a valve box and that is provided with a valve body not susceptible to damage, etc., during assembly or during casting, the check valve being provided with an inflow channel and outflow channel for a fluid, a valve box communicating with both the inflow channel and the outflow channel, and a valve body disposed within the valve box and configured from an elastic material. The valve body has a thin part having a substantially circular shape in a plan view, and a thick part protruding from the approximate center of one surface of the thin part. The valve box is provided with: a valve body support part having a hole connected to the outflow channel, the valve body support part including an annular bottom part capable of supporting the bottom outer edge of the thick part, and a peripheral wall part connected to the outer peripheral edge of the annular bottom part; a valve body contact part with which the vicinity of the outer peripheral edge on the other-surface side of the thin part comes into contact; and a valve seat part which is positioned between the valve body contact part and an outlet end of the inflow channel, and which includes a valve seat surface with which the other surface of the thin part can come into contact. The pressure of a fluid flowing in a forward flow direction from the inflow channel toward the outflow channel causes the vicinity of the outer peripheral edge on the other-surface side of the thin part to elastically deform so as to separate from the valve body contact part, thus opening the valve.
