Abstract:
A chemical analyzer includes sound wave generating mechanisms opposed to the side and bottom of a reaction vessel and disposed outside the reaction vessel in the positions where a reagent is supplied to the reaction vessel and a driver for controlling application of a sound wave so that the sound wave may have a component traveling toward the surface of a liquid to be measured in the reaction vessel and a component striking obliquely or parallel with respect to the liquid surface. Thus, mixing and agitation can be efficiently conducted in a noncontact way, and the analyzer is small.
