Abstract:
A chemical heat storage apparatus is provided with a heat storage member in which heat is generated by a chemical reaction with a reaction medium and the reaction medium is separated via endothermic change; a reactor for internally accommodating the heat storage material, said reactor being positioned in a flow path in which a fluid to be heated circulates; a reservoir in which the reaction medium is stored; and a connecting pipe via which the reactor and the reservoir communicate, and through which the reaction medium is circulated between the reactor and the reservoir. The reactor is provided with a plurality of heat storage material accommodating units for accommodating the heat storage member, and a plurality of heat exchange sections provided adjoining the heat storage material accommodating units, said heat exchange sections performing heat exchange between the fluid to be heated and the heat storage member in the heat storage material accommodating units. The heat storage material accommodating units and the heat exchange units are stacked in alternating fashion. Each of the plurality of heat exchange units is thermally connected to the adjoining heat storage material accommodating units and provided with fins that are wave-shaped in cross section and capable of circulating the fluid to be heated. The circulation resistance is lower at a position farther from the center of the flow path in which the fluid to be heated circulates than at a position near the center of the flow path.
