Title:
CHEMICALLY MODIFIED CELLULOSE FIBER AND METHOD FOR PRODUCING SAME
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2019/003774
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
Provided is a sulfuric esterified cellulose fiber having a cellulose I-type crystal structure. This cellulose fiber is a chemically modified cellulose fiber which has a cellulose I-type crystal and in which some hydroxyl groups of the cellulose are substituted by a substituent represented by the formula (1), wherein the introduction amount of the substituent is 0.1-3.0 mmol per 1 g of the chemically modified cellulose fiber, and the average degree of polymerization is at least 350 (in formula (1), M represents a monovalent to trivalent cation). In the production of the chemically modified cellulose fiber, a cellulose fiber is treated with a sulfamic acid while maintaining the shape of the cellulose fiber, and thereby, sulfamine is reacted with cellulose microfibers constituting the cellulose fiber.
