Abstract:
The disclosed child lock mechanism maintains excellent operability when setting/unsetting and exhibits excellent operability when the door is opened/closed. The child lock mechanism is equipped with a base member, a first lever, a second lever and an intermediate member that is attached to the first lever but is not attached to the second lever. When the intermediate member is retained in the unset position, the intermediate member can rotate relative to the base member. The centre of rotation of the first lever relative to the base member and the centre of rotation of the intermediate member relative to the base member are arranged coaxially.
