Abstract:
An objective of the present invention is to precisely sense the number and identification information of chips stacked on an amusement table. Each of a plurality of infrared light emitting elements 307 embedded in an amusement table 300 is allocated a unique address for identifying a position on the amusement table 300 in advance. Each infrared light emitting element 307 emits a light emission signal including position data indicating the address allocated thereto. Each chip T stacked vertically on the amusement table 300 receives a light emission signal including the position data from a respective infrared light emitting element 307. Each chip T transmits information such as a chip ID for identifying the chip T in addition to the received position data as bet chip information to a reader/writer 302.
