A chip collection device for a Computer Numeric Control (CNC) machine. The chip collection device comprises a casing body (1) and several filter meshes, and the casing body has an internal cavity (4) open from above. Four sides are formed in the internal cavity and the casing body, wherein two inclined sides are respectively a first side (5) and a second side (6), and each of the first side (5) and the second side (6) is provided with a recess (7) on the upper surface thereof. A support plate (8) is hinged to the inner wall of the recess (7) at the taller side of the casing body, the recess (7), and a spring (9) is disposed between the support plate (8) and the bottom surface of the recess (7). A mesh frame (2) is disposed at the upper surface of the casing body (1), and is slidably connected to the first side (5) and the second side (6). Via a gradual weight increase of the filter meshes during collection of cooling fluids and chips, the filter meshes presses the support plate to be level and slide to a collecting end of the casing body when the weight has reached a certain amount. The chip collection device has a simple structure and a low cost and achieves automation of filter mesh replacement, thus reducing the workload for personnel.
