Abstract:
Provided is a chip that does not require high-precision control of the discharge amount of a feed pump and makes it possible to suppress air bubble inclusion. A chip 1 is for inspection or analysis and is provided with a flow path 4 through which fluid is fed. The chip 1 comprises: a first flow path 5 through which a first fluid is fed; a second flow path 6 through which a second fluid is fed; a merging part 8 that is provided at the downstream end 5a of the first flow path 5 and is where the first fluid and second fluid merge; a first connection flow path 9 in the merging part 8 that connects the first flow path 5 and second flow path 6 and has a higher fluid feeding resistance than the first flow path 5; a gas release flow path 13 that is connected to the second flow path 6 downstream from the first connection flow path 9; a third flow path 7 provided downstream from the merging part 8; and a second connection flow path 10 that connects the first flow path 5 and third flow path 7 and has a higher fluid feeding resistance than the first flow path 5.
