Abstract:
Disclosed in embodiments of the present invention are a chip and a related apparatus. The chip comprises multiple function modules and a ring network. The ring network comprises multiple nodes, and the multiple nodes comprise a first node and a second node. The first node and the second node are adjacent in the ring network. The first node determines whether a first injection buffer value is greater than a first threshold and whether a first injection bandwidth is less than a first expected bandwidth. If the first injection buffer value is greater than the first threshold and the first injection bandwidth is less than the first expected bandwidth, the first node sends a first request to the second node, and the first request is used to instruct at least one node in the ring network excluding the first node to reduce the number of first data packets to be sent, the first data packets being data packets passing through the first node. The embodiments of the present invention are adopted to reasonably allocate a network bandwidth according to actual operation conditions of a system.
