Abstract:
The embodiments of the present application relate to the technical field of chips. Provided are a chip system and a collective communication method. The specific solution involves: the chip system comprising a processor core, a task scheduler and a first accelerator, wherein the processor core is used for arranging all tasks in collective communication according to a desired execution sequence to obtain a task-arrangement execution sequence, and issuing the task-arrangement execution sequence and a synchronization task to the task scheduler; the synchronization task is used for controlling the task-arrangement execution sequence; the task scheduler is used for scheduling tasks to the first accelerator according to the task-arrangement execution sequence, and controlling the task-arrangement execution sequence according to the synchronization task; and the first accelerator is used for executing the tasks according to the task-arrangement execution sequence. In the chip system provided in the present application, a processor core is not required to participate in a task execution process , such that the calculation efficiency of collective communication can be improved.
