Abstract:
The present invention relates to: a compound represented by general formula (1A), which is useful as a chiral tetradentate ligand in various catalytic organic synthesis reactions; an easy and efficient production method for the compound; and a transition metal complex which comprises the compound as a ligand, and which exhibits excellent catalytic activity in various organic synthesis reactions. (In formula (1A), solid lines, double lines, C, H, N, G and R4-R12 are as defined in the description.)
