Title:
CHIROPRACTIC MACHINE
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2006/048922
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
A chiropractic machine, wherein a tower-like frame (5) is vertically installed on an adjustable stand (1), and a lifting support body (6) on which a chiropractic bar (7) is held is mounted on the tower-like frame (5) so as to be vertically adjusted. Also, a weight receiver (9) is suspended from the frame so that the load of a weight (10) can be applied as a chiropractic force to a chiropractic element (35) fitted to the end of the chiropractic bar (7) so as to be vertically moved. When the chiropractic machine is used, the height of the lifting support body (6) is adjusted according to the body size, style, and affected part position of a patient, and the required weight (10) is put on the weight receiver (9) according to a symptom. Since a pressing force in proportion to the weight (10) is imparted on the affected part when the chiropractic element (35) is pressed against the affected part, even the persistent deformation of a skeleton can be easily corrected by sustaining that pressing.
