Abstract:
The present invention relates to the field of optical communications, and discloses a chirp compensation laser and drive method thereof, used to address the problem in which a 1-db requirement of dispersion penalty is difficult to be met on the basis of a directly-modulated DFB laser. The chirp compensation laser (11) comprises a DFB laser region (111) and a phase region (112).
