Abstract:

The present invention provides a choke coil, and a method for manufacturing the same, having a high occupation rate and high manufacturing efficiency.　The method for manufacturing a choke coil 10 according to the present invention has: a core preparation step for preparing an arcuate first core 30 and second core 40 that are insulation-coated using resin bobbins 31, 41, and that each have two end edges; a first core winding step for winding a first winding wire 50a on the first core to obtain a first core component 3; a second core winding step for winding a second winding wire 50b on the second core to obtain a second core component 4; and an abutting step for causing the end edges of the first core component and the second core component that have been wound to abut each other to form an annular shape.
