Abstract:
The present invention addresses the problem of providing a composition that contains a choline ester such as acetylcholine as an active ingredient, can be orally ingested by humans by a simple method, and has a blood pressure-lowering effect and/or anti-stress effect. The present invention also addresses the problem of providing: a novel orally-ingestible composition that enables humans to ingest a choline ester such as acetylcholine in a simple method and has a blood pressure-lowering effect and a vasodilating effect; and food products that provide useful supply sources for such a composition.
