Abstract:
Disclosed in the present invention is a chopper-modulated instrumentation amplifier having an offset voltage cancelling circuit, comprising a first chopper, a second chopper, a chopper operational amplifier, input capacitors C1 and C2, feedback capacitors C3 and C4, an offset voltage detector, and an offset voltage canceller. The offset voltage detector comprises a fourth chopper, a low-pass filter, single-pole double-throw switches SW1, SW2, SW3, and SW4, and capacitors C7 and C8. The offset voltage canceller consists of two current source tubes, and cancels an offset voltage in a first-stage transconductance circuit of the chopper operational amplifier. According to the chopper-modulated instrumentation amplifier having an offset voltage cancelling circuit of the present invention, amplification, detection, and cancelling of the offset voltage are implemented by means of existing two-stage transconductance of the chopper operational amplifier, the extra power consumption is low, the noise impact on a main circuit is small; moreover, the low-pass filter in the offset voltage detector uses a duty cycle resistor, the accuracy is high, and the area is small.
