Abstract:
A light socket, Christmas light, and method for maintaining continuous current flow for multiple luminaires connected in series, the light socket (1) being provided with an installation groove (11) for installation of a light bead (2); a conductive connection device (12) conductively connected to the light bead (2) being disposed within the installation groove (11); a first electrical connection wire (131) and a second electrical connection wire (132) being disposed on the light socket(1) for wiring and being respectively and conductively connected to a conductive connection device (12). A high-resistance conductive coating (14) coated on the conductive connection device (12) enables the first electrical connection wire (131) and the second electrical connection wire (132) to conduct via the conductive connection device (12). When the light bead (2) is mounted within the installation groove (11), the light bead (2) and the high-resistance conductive coating (14) forms a parallel electrical circuit. Through the high-resistance conductive coating (14), if the light bead (2) has a fault, a current can be conducted by flowing through the high-resistance conductive coating (14), enabling normal operation of other light beads in the circuit. The luminaires have the characteristics of a simple structure, a low cost, easy installation and the like.
