Abstract:
Chroman derivatives represented by general formula (I) and salts of the same; and medicines, particularly arrhythmia remedies, containing the derivatives or the salts as the active ingredient wherein R?1¿ and R?2¿ are each independently hydrogen or C¿1?-C¿6? alkyl; R?3¿ is hydroxyl or -OC(=O)R?9¿; R?4¿ is hydrogen or unites with R?3¿ to form a bond; R?6¿ is hydrogen, C¿1?-C¿6? alkyl, or C¿3?-C¿6? cycloalkyl; R?7¿ is hydrogen, halogeno, nitro, formamido, amino, C¿1?-C¿6? alkylcarbonylamino, or the like; R?5¿ is pyridyl or phenyl; R?8¿ is hydrogen or C¿1?-C¿4? alkyl; n is an integer of 0 to 4; X is C(=O), CH¿2?, SO¿2?, or NR?14¿C(=O); and W is an optionally substituted aromatic group or a group derived from a cyclic amide whose ring is constituted of 5 to 7 members.
