Abstract:
A churning deaerator (10) includes a supporting member (14); a rotary base (16)
supported on the supporting member rotatably around a first axis (Y1) of rotation;
a first rotation drive mechanism (18) for rotating the rotary base around the
first axis of rotation; a container (20) secured to the periphery of the rotary
base and rotatable around the first axis of rotation together with the rotary
base; a shear stress action member (40) arranged in close proximity to the maximum
centrifugal force action region on the inner wall of the container and having
a shear stress action part (40a) rotatable around a second axis (Y2) of rotation;
and a second rotation drive mechanism (46) for rotating the shear stress action
part of the shear stress action member around the second axis of rotation so that
shear stress acts on an article to be processed in the container. When the rotary
base rotates to revolve the container, the shear stress action part rotates (rotation)
on the revolution orbit of the container and shear stress acts on the article to
be processed in the container thus performing deaeration and churning of the
article to be processed.
