Title:
C.I. PIGMENT YELLOW 180, AQUEOUS PIGMENT DISPERSION FOR INK-JET INK, AND AQUEOUS PIGMENT INK
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2021/199632
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
The problem to be solved by the present invention is to provide an aqueous pigment dispersion for ink-jet (IJ) inks which is excellent in terms of coloring power, light resistance, and dispersibility and is especially suited for use in aqueous pigment IJ inks. The present invention provides an aqueous pigment dispersion for IJ inks which comprises C.I. Pigment Yellow 180, a block copolymer having an acid value of 10-20 and an amine value of 20 or less, and water. Also provided is C.I. Pigment Yellow 180 which has an aspect ratio of 1.0-2.0 and a primary-particle minor-axis length of 30-100 nm and has a crystallite diameter of 15.0 nm or larger, the crystallite diameter being calculated with the Scherrer equation from the half band width of peak A, which, within the range of 2θ=6.7±0.5°, exhibits a maximum diffraction intensity in X-ray powder diffraction shown by diffraction intensity against diffraction angle 2θ and determined with a CuKα line.
