Abstract:
The disclosed cigarette bundle supply device (1) is provided with a delivery duct (7) and a front plate (20). The delivery duct (7), which forms the bottom of a hopper, delivers filtered cigarettes (2) towards a bottom plate (17) below the hopper, thereby forming a cigarette bundle (5) on the bottom plate (17). In order to drop the filtered cigarettes (2) individually, the delivery duct (7) has a plurality of delivery channels that are adjacent to each other in the width direction of the hopper and open in one direction. The front plate (20), which is adjacent to the delivery duct (7) in one direction, extends in the width direction and covers the delivery channels in the delivery duct (7). The disclosed cigarette bundle supply device is also provided with a plurality of suction holes (22), formed in the front plate (20), that have open ends that open towards the delivery duct (7). Via said open ends, the suction holes (22) suction in tobacco shreds (6) that spill out of the cigarette ends of the filtered cigarettes (2) and fall between the front plate (20) and the delivery duct (7) towards the bottom plate (17).
