Disclosed are a circuit breaker and an actuator thereof. The circuit breaker comprises the actuator. The actuator comprises a transverse pull rod (1) connected to a moving contact and a crank arm (9) connected to the transverse pull rod in a transmission manner through a connecting plate (12) for driving the transverse pull rod to move left and right. The rotational axis of the crank arm extends in the forward and backward directions. One end of the connecting plate is articulated to the crank arm, while the other end of the connecting plate is articulated to the transverse pull rod through an articulating pin (4) with an axis extending in the forward and backward directions. The actuator further comprises an articulating pin guide part (13), and the articulating pin guide part is provided with an articulating pin guide structure moving in cooperation with the articulating pin for guiding same in the left and right directions.
