Abstract:

Disclosed are a circuit-breaker and a baffle (101) thereof. Baffles are provided at two sides of a shell (103) of a circuit-breaker, wherein a baffle at one side is located inside an arc angle (102) of a static contact, and the baffle cuts off a space inside the arc angle of the static contact, and the baffles at the two sides have a symmetrical structure. The baffles can solve the problem that high-temperature gas returns from a side face of an arc angle of a static contact to a place between a moving contact and the static contact during a short circuit breaking process, thereby driving a voltaic arc to repeatedly move between running arcs, and causing excessively long breaking time and serious burn damage to an end tab and a moving/static contact; and the baffles can effectively cut off an airflow and a voltaic arc, so that the voltaic arc can better enter an arc extinguish chamber to extinguish an arc, the breaking time is shortened, and the breaking effect is good.
