Abstract:
A circuit breaker, comprising a supporting insulator (1), an optical fibre current transformer and at least one arc extinguishing chamber (2, 3), wherein a top portion of the supporting insulator (1) is provided with a supporting insulator upper flange (16); the optical fibre current transformer comprises an optical fibre current transformer coil (17), with the optical fibre current transformer coil (17) being sheathed outside the supporting insulator upper flange (16); and the supporting insulator upper flange (16) is a conductor electrically connected to a movable contact of the corresponding arc extinguishing chamber (2, 3), so that a current of the arc extinguishing chamber (2, 3) passes through an inner hole of the optical fibre current transformer coil (17).
