Abstract:
In conventional circuits for detecting disconnection of bridge circuits, sufficient attention has not been paid to the fact that the offset voltage and temperature characteristics of bridge output deteriorate. Disclosed is a circuit for detecting disconnection of a bridge circuit, which suppresses a change of the characteristics of a sensor to be minute.
The circuit (8a) for detecting disconnection of a bridge circuit is configured of: current carrying means (9, 10), which carry a current to predetermined potential from the output terminal of a bridge circuit; potential difference detecting means (12, 13), which detect a difference between the potential of the output terminal of the bridge circuit and the predetermined potential; and a disconnection detecting means (14), which detects disconnection on the basis of output from the potential difference detecting means.
