Abstract:
A circuit for protecting an air conditioner is provided with: relays (21, 22) connected between an AC power supply (10) and a circuit (3) for controlling the air conditioner; a voltage detecting unit for detecting the voltage of the AC power supply (10) at terminals (51, 52) between the AC power supply (10) and the relays (21, 22); an evaluation unit for evaluating whether or not the detected voltage detected by the voltage detecting unit is within a range defined by a lower limit and an upper limit; and a control unit for setting the relays (21, 22) in an off state to block the connection between the AC power supply (10) and the control circuit (3) when the detected voltage is not in the range.
