Abstract:
The invention relates to a circular loom comprising six shuttles without carrying wheels and a rolling shuttle track on which the shuttles run and which are arranged on a top ring and a bottom ring as holding members respectively. The rolling track comprises a plurality of rollers, two sets of which define a recessed rolling rack. The body of every shuttle is a boat-shaped body with a flange on each of its sides and the flanges are used to engage with the recessed rolling rack. By using the invention the weaving speed of the shuttle can be increased with an extended service life and improved work efficiency.
