Abstract:
Provided is a circular polarizing plate that produces neutral reflection hues. This circular polarizing plate includes a polarizer, a retardation layer, and an adhesive layer. The angle formed by the absorption axis of the polarizer and the slow axis of the retardation layer is 39°-51°. At least one of the polarizer, the retardation layer, and the adhesive layer includes a pigment compound having a maximum absorption within a wavelength range of 650 nm and above on the absorption spectrum.
