Abstract:
The objective of the present invention is to provide a circularly polarizing plate having excellent flexibility and excellent bending resistance. The present invention provides a circularly polarizing plate having a polarizing layer that is formed so as to include a linear polarizing layer, and a phase difference layer that is formed so as to include a λ/4 phase difference layer, a phase difference layer bonding layer, and a positive C layer, wherein the phase difference layer attachment layer has an elastic modulus of 1 GPa or greater, the circularly polarizing plate has a crack strain of 15% or more, the crack strain being the elongation (%) when both ends of a circularly polarizing plate with a length of 5 cm and a width of 10 mm are pulled with a speed of 4 mm/minute in the length direction and a crack occurs in the circularly polarizing plate.
