Abstract:
The present invention relates to a circulation cooling apparatus for removing reaction heat from an FT slurry bubble column reactor, the interior of which is divided by a gas discharge plate into an upper reaction chamber and a lower introduction chamber so as to be capable of controlling the temperature of reaction heat generated when synthesis gas produced by a coal gasifier reacts with a catalyst. The apparatus comprises: a first cooling tube vertically installed on a reaction chamber top cover of the reactor; a second cooling tube horizontally installed in the introduction chamber; and a third cooling tube vertically installed so as to put the first cooling tube in communication with the second cooling tube, wherein by connecting the first cooling tube and the second cooling tube that are vented to the outside of the reactor via a transfer tube, and immediately recovering residual coolant following the discharge thereof into the reaction chamber, temperature control is easily performed by preventing overcooling by stagnant coolant.
