Abstract:
A circulator (20) is provided with: a cross flow fan (1); a fan casing (2) for determining the blowout direction of an air flow generated by the cross flow fan (1); an oscillation mechanism unit (3) that causes the fan casing (2) to perform an oscillation operation; a position detecting means for detecting that the fan casing (2) is at an oscillation stop position which is a prescribed position for stopping the oscillation operation; and a control unit (11) that, in stopping the oscillation operation of the fan casing (2) at the oscillation stop position, performs control to continue the oscillation operation without stopping the fan casing (2) at the oscillation stop position when the oscillation mechanism unit (3) moves the fan casing (2) in a direction opposite to a prescribed direction, and to stop the fan casing (2) at the oscillation stop position when the oscillation mechanism unit (3) moves the fan casing in the prescribed direction.
