Abstract:
A circulator (20) comprises: a cross-flow fan (3); a fan casing (2) that determines a blow direction for the air flow generated by the cross-flow fan (3); an oscillation mechanism (5) that causes the fan casing (2) to oscillate; a position detection means that detects that the fan casing (2) is in an oscillation stop position that is a stipulated position where the oscillation is stopped; and a control unit (21) that, when the fan casing (2) oscillation is to be stopped at the stipulated oscillation stop position, stops the fan casing (2) while the oscillation mechanism (5) is oscillating against the rotational moment due to the weight of the fan casing (2).
