Abstract:
The invention relates to a juice extractor comprising: a rear lid that conceals or protects the gearing and the electric motor; an intermediate casing having side surfaces that define two windows, namely an upper inlet window and a lower outlet window, as well as the base of the extractor, said casing including a transverse wall having a vertical section, an inclined section and a lower vertical section arranged to define a step and, therebelow, a rear housing in which the horizontally-positioned electric motor is placed, coupled to a helical gear via an endless screw, the helical gear including a clutch or safety system allowing same to slip during rotation in the event of an overpressure, and the gears on the rear surface of the transverse wall of the intermediate casing being disposed in an ascending cascade configuration; an access ramp for grapefruit, an access ramp for oranges and an access ramp for lemons, all three ramps including a pin which, when assembled, actuates a safety switch; gearing and squeezing devices (volute and bobbin) assembled on the faces of the intermediate casing; and a front lid, a juice collection chute and a container.
