CLAIMS:

1. Citrus juicer implement for kitchen appliances with cooking function, wherein the blades of an agitator at the bottom of the cooking vessel drive the juicer attachment

2. Citrus juicer implement for kitchen appliances with cooking function as to claim 1 , wherein the juicer implement is a rotary driven reamer with circumferential collector vessel, that closes the cooking vessel.

3. Citrus juicer implement for kitchen appliances with cooking function as to claim 1 and 2, wherein a drive shaft from the agitator of the cooking vessel is guided through the opening in the lid of the cooking vessel to the bearing of the juicer.

4. Citrus juicer implement for kitchen appliances with cooking function as to claim 1 to 3, wherein the torque of the agitator in the cooking pot is transmitted by wings on the intermediate shaft, which engage between the blades of the agitator of the cooking vessel.

Description:
CITRUS JUICER IMPLEMENT FOR KITCHEN APPLIANCES WITH COOKING FUNCTION

FIELD OF THE INVENTION

The present invention relates to the use of kitchen appliances with cooking function, so-called "Prep & Cook" devices.

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION AND PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED

Food processors of said kind include stirring, cutting and grinding implements etc., by which cooking ingredients are prepared, as was the hereditary case with food processors.

New since recent years is an integrated cooking function, differentiated program management and even more recently implements for steaming.

Squashing soft fruits is possible with the actual beaters and slicers, but not juicing citrus fruits, because of their thick rind and bast fibers.

PRIOR ART

With DE 7028077 U, an attachment with a reamer for juicing citrus fruits in food processors is known. But the construction was based on an flat gearbox, attached between the motor and the de -juicer, so to reduce the height of the food processor.

This however was not feasible in combination with the cooking function, because there was no more space for the cooking vessel.

DE 202 06 403 Ul and DE 1261289 B proposes an arrangement, wherein a vertically oriented motor is transmitted at either side of its drive axle, on top for the juice container with mixer and on the bottom with a belt transmission for the food container with its slower cutting and kneading implements.

Whereas a juice container and juicer is indicated therein, this obviously refers to a shredding function only, as with ordinary kitchen blenders, which are not suitable for processing of citrus fruit with its zest.

So a citrus juicer, such as described in DE 20 2009 006 422 Ul or US 2,010,491 is not known for "Cook & Prep" machines.

However, numerous other kitchen appliances, as with DE 69101451 T2, do apply a citrus juicer, but then do not contain a cooking functions.

TASK OF THE INVENTION

It is therefore an object of the present innovation, to provide a citrus juicer implement for food processors with integrated cooking appliance that can be operated as usual by a vertically arranged drive unit without affecting the cooking function. SOLUTION

The inventive step therefore is to make use of the current constructions, simply using the stirring mechanism on bottom of the cooking vessels and to transmit the rotation of this agitator to the tappet on the citrus grinder's bearing.

This is accomplished with an inserted shaft with flukes, which fit in between the flanges of the agitator.

Since modern kitchen machines are operated with electronically governed speed control, rotational speed adjustment is not more a conflicting issue for it.

Moreover, the cooking vessels in this kind of machines use to have an opening in their lid, where otherwise a stirring spatula can be moved within.

This opening is closed by the collecting vessel of the citrus juicer bonnet, whereas its drive shaft works through it.

CLOSER DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION ALONG TO THE DRAWING

Fig. 1 shows a cross section along the axis of the insert, with the recess 1 , which serves as a centering on the usual fixing screws of the agitator in the cooking vessel, whereas the wings 3 are inserted between the blades of the agitator. This way the torque on the Plug-in receptacle 4 is transferred onto the reamer 5, while the cup 6 collects the juice.
