The solution provides a claim case processing method and apparatus, a terminal device and a medium, and is applicable to the technical field of information processing. The method comprises: obtaining a claim case reporting request and accepting the request, so as to obtain case reporting information; determining a corresponding case type according to the case reporting information; selecting a case template from preset case templates as a target template according to the determined case type; inputting the case reporting information and case key information to the target template, so as to obtain a case reporting file; by means of a case generation system of an insurance company, generating a target case corresponding to the claim case reporting request according to the case reporting file; examining the target case according to a preset examination rule; if the examination passes, calculating a settlement expense of the target case, and performing settlement payment processing according to the calculated settlement expense; and if the examination does not pass, generating and feeding back information related to the failure of examination of the target case. The solution resolves the problem of low efficiency due to great consumption of time costs in the recording process of the existing claim settlement processing procedure.
