Abstract:
The invention relates to a clamping device (6) for a braking system (2) intended to exert a relative movement between friction elements (4A, 4B) and comprising an assembly (7) bearing: - a clamping force application member (9) for applying a clamping force to at least one of the friction elements (4A, 4B), and - electromechanical means (11) for moving the clamping force application member (9). The clamping device (6) comprises vibration damping means (25, 26) arranged around at least one rotating member (15, 20) of the electromechanical means (11), between this rotating member (15, 20) and a fixed part (10, 16) of the assembly (7).
