Abstract:
The invention relates to a clamping protection device for a hinge, which is arranged in a concealed manner, for a door or a window, wherein the hinge comprises a leaf/sash part (1) mounted on a leaf/sash (16), a frame part (2) mounted on a frame (15), and a hinge strap (4) which connects these two parts via at least one articulated connection (3), and wherein a receptacle (5), which serves to receive a bent portion (6) of the hinge strap (4) with the door closed or the window closed, is provided in the frame (15) or in the leaf/sash (16) on the side of the articulated connection (3) of the hinge strap (4). Provided at the open end of the receptacle (5) for the bent portion (6) of the hinge strap (4) is a pivotably mounted covering flap (7) which has its axis of rotation (8) extending parallel to the axis of rotation of the articulated connection (3) of the hinge strap (4) and which is preloaded by means of at least one spring (9) towards its closed position in which it conceals the receptacle (5).
