Abstract:
Disclosed is a clasp for an accessory wherein design characteristics with respect to appearance is excellent and user friendliness is improved by enabling to switch between the state of holding a spherical jewelry object therein and the state wherein adjacent clasps engage with each other.
The clasp (10) comprises a first ring-shaped body (1) which extends along the outer surface of one of the hemispherical sections of the spherical jewelry object and a second ring-shaped body (2) which extends along the outer surface of the other hemispherical section. The first and second ring-shaped bodies have base ends shaped such that the base end of the one of a pair of the clasps adjacent to each other in a closed state extends through the inside of the other clasp and the base end of the other clasp extends through the inside of the one clasp.
