Abstract:
A class unloading method and an electronic device, relating to the technical field of electronics, for dynamically unloading a class during operation of an application, and increasing available memory space. The method comprises: after an application is launched, an electronic device loading n classes (201), n being a positive integer; generating a reference mapping table, the reference mapping table comprising a reference relationship between the n classes and m class objects corresponding to the n classes and a dependency relationship between the m class objects corresponding to the n classes (202), wherein the dependency relationship is used to represent a dependency mapping relationship between different class objects, and m is a positive integer greater than or equal to n; and during operation of the application, unloading, according to the reference mapping table, a first class of the n classes (203).
