Abstract:
Provided is a classification apparatus which can perform simultaneous multiple classification on devices in a preceding process easily at a high speed while saving the space. The classification apparatus (1) comprises a drum (11) rotating on an axis of rotation (O). The drum (11) rotates on the axis of rotation (O), and is provided with a drum movement mechanism (14) for allowing the drum to slidingly move in the axial direction (direction of Y axis in the drawing). The drum (11) is substantially cylindrical, and is provided on the circumferential surface thereof with a holding portion (13) for holding a plurality of small, rectangular and planar trays (12). The holding portion (13) is divided into twelve sections in the circumferential direction of the drum (11) and further divided into five sections in the axial direction so that sixty trays (12) in total are held. The holding portion (13) has a central suction hole and the rectangular trays (12) are vacuum sucked from the suction hole and held.
