A classification device for classifying particles dispersed in a slurry, using the difference in precipitation speed, and a blast machining device provided with this device are provided. The classification device is provided with a casing for introducing a slurry and classifying large-diameter particles and small-diameter particles, and a slurry introduction mechanism for introducing the slurry. The casing is partitioned into a slurry introduction chamber, a first recovery chamber, and a second recovery chamber, by a slurry introduction member and a classification member erectly disposed from the bottom surface of the classification chamber main body. This classification device can be used as a sorting mechanism for sorting particles in a slurry into abrasive particles that can be used again and particles that cannot, in a wet blast machining device.
