Abstract:

Claims:

CLAIMS:

1. A cleansable hairbrush, comprising a basal surface from where a plurality of bristles are exceeding upwardly; and a rotatable cleansingsieve wherein said sieve is rotatably mounted in a housing located adjacent to said basal surface; said sieve comprising a plurality of apertures, each of which is accommodating at least one bristle; said sieve is adapted to rotate in a course providing a 'close configuration', i.e., whereat the sieve is fastened parallel to the basal surface, and an 'open configuration' i.e., whereat the sieve is being tilted from said basal surface and providing for efficient removal of hair or litter from the said basal surface.

2. The cleansable hairbrush according to claim 1, further composing fastening means immobilizing the rotetable cleansing sieve to a location adjacent to the basal surface when the sieve is in its close configuration'.

3. The cleansable hairbrush according to claim 1, wherein the rotetable cleansing sieve is adapted to rotate continuously, in a graded manner or in any combination thereof.

4. The cleansable hairbrush according to claim 1, wherein said housing comprising at least two flaps and a pole mounted between them, such as the pole is provided as the axle for the rotation of the rotatable cleansing sieve.

5. The cleansable hairbrush according to claim 1, wherein the rotatable cleansing sieve ellipsoid. .

6. The cleansable hairbrush according to claim 1, wherein the rotetable cleansing sieve is a polygon.

The cleansable hairbrush according to claim 1 , wherein the removal of hair or litter from the hairbrush is performed by means selected from a group consisting of magnets absorbing metallic litter ; static electricity absorbing means adapted to absorb hair or litter ; cutting means adapted to keep hair or litter on top of the sieve, and remove it from the basal surface, or any combination thereof

8. The cleansable hairbrush according to claim 1, especially adapted to human use.

9. The cleansable hairbrush according to claim 1 , adapted to veterinary use, especially for dogs, cats and other long-hair mammals.

10. The cleansable hairbrush according to claim 1, additionally comprising a mirror.

1 1. The cleansable hairbrush according to claim 1 , additionally comprising a sound producing device located either in said hairbrush handle or body, said sounds are produced when said hairbrush is handled, said sounds are selected from a variety of human voices, animal voices or music.

12. The cleansable hairbrush as defined in the present invention.

13. A cleansable hairbrush (100) as described in either figure 1 or figure 2, comprising a handle (10), a basal surface (20) and a rotating cleansing sieve (30).

Description:

CLEANABLE HAIR BRUSH

FIELD OF INVENTION

The present invention generally related to the field of cleansable hair brushes, more specifically to the field of hair brushes comprising means for hair or litter removal.

BACKGROUND OF INVENTION

Hair left on hair brushes is a common bother, since it consumes time to clean it up, and the hair brush tends to be greasy and. When combing hair with a hair brush that is not hair-free, the user's hair can be dirtier when it gets close to dirty hair from that hair brush. It is known in the art that hair left on the hair brush is dirtier than the hair brush since it is parasite and louses habitat.

Mammals' hair, such as dog's hair, is thicker than human hair, greasier and contains parasites, and so it is more difficult to comb dogs. Therefore many dog owners comb their dogs rarely, and cause veterinarian damage for their pets, since it is not as clean and highly brushed as it should be.

All the abovementioned produce a need for hair brush with a simple to operate hair- cleansing member. Among these hair brushes with a hair-cleansing member disclosed in the literature, one can find hair brushes comprising a hair-cleansing member being unattached to the hair brush, as disclosed in both German patent 19,928,527 and WO patent application 9,713,429. Hair-cleansing member unattached to the hair brush can be lost often, especially since the present invention is configured for adults and children equally.

In the field of hair-cleansing member connected to the hair brush the attachment is done on top of the base surface of the hair brush, as preferably described in French patent 2,562,776 and European patent 1,121,878. Such connection between the hair brush and Hair-cleansing member is not simple and easy to use and clean, and may be reliable for shorter period of time than an attachment based on a small member, such as spring or shaft.

A simple to operate and cost effective hair brush comprising a simply attached hair cleansing member is hence still along felt need.

SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION

The first object of the present invention is by discloses a cleansable hairbrush, comprising: a basal surface from where a plurality of bristles are exceeding upwardly; and a rotetable cleansingsieve wherein said sieve is rotatably mounted in a housing located adjacent to said basal surface; said sieve comprising a plurality of apertures, each of which is accommodating at least one bristle; said sieve is adapted to rotate in a course providing a 'close configuration', i.e., whereat the sieve is fastened parallel to the basal surface, and an 'open configuration' i.e., whereat the sieve is being tilted from said basal surface and providing for efficient removal of hair or litter from the said basal surface. The cleansable hairbrush according to claim 1, further composing fastening means immobilizing the rotetable cleansing sieve to a location adjacent to the basal surface when the sieve is in its close configuration'.

It is in the scope of the present invention wherein the aforesaid cleansable hairbrush comprising a rotetable cleansing sieve which is adapted to rotate in a continuous manner, in a graded manner or in any combination thereof.

It is also in the scope of the present invention wherein the aforesaid housing is comprised of at least two flaps and a pole mounted between them, such as the pole is provided as the axle for the rotation of the rotetable cleansing sieve. The rotetable cleansing sieve is preferably ellipsoid, polygon or any combination thereof.

It is also in the scope of the present invention wherein the removal of hair or litter from the hairbrush is performed by means selected from a group consisting of magnets absorbing metallic litter; static electricity absorbing means adapted to absorb hair or litter; cutting means adapted to keep hair or litter on top of the sieve, and remove it from the basal surface, or any combination thereof.

It is also in the scope of the present invention wherein the aforesaid cleansable hairbrush is especially adapted to human use.

It is also in the scope of the present invention wherein the aforesaid cleansable hairbrush is especially adapted to veterinary use, especially for dogs, cats and other long-hair mammals.

BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE FIGURES

In order to understand the invention and to see how it may be implemented in practice, a plurality of embodiments will now be described, by way of non-limiting example only, with reference to the accompanying drawings, in which figure 1 presents a schematic section of the hair brush (100) according to one embodiment of the present invention, wherein the cleansing member is in its 'closed configuration'; and, figure 2 presents a schematic section of the same when the cleansing member is in its 'open configuration'.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF PREFERRED EMBODIMENTS

The following description is provided, alongside all chapters of the present invention, so as to enable any person skilled in the art to make use of said invention and sets forth the best modes contemplated by the inventor of carrying out this invention. Various modifications, however, will remain apparent to those skilled in the art, since the generic principles of the present invention have been defined specifically to provide a hair brush with a cleansing sieve member for hair and litter removal from the brush.

The term 'hairbrush' refers hereinafter to any hair brush for human, animals, dolls or any combination thereof.

The term 'cleansing sieve' refers hereinafter to any member of any hair brush, configured to clean the base surface of the bristles, the bristles, the body of the hair brush or any combination thereof, comprising apertures, each of which which is accommodating at least one bristle and absorb hair and litter from the basal surface by rotating from said surface and cut said hair or magnetize it.

The present invention relates to a hair brush with a cleansing sieve member. Said sieve has two configurations: 'open configuration' and 'closed configuration'. When the sieve is 'closed configuration', it is fastened to the hair brush. When the sieve is 'open configuration', it is not fastened and thus absorbs the hair and litter from the base surface and bristles of the hair brush, and the hair and litter are much easier to be collected from the sieve. Hair removal from the hair brush is done by means selected from a group comprising magnets, static electricity, cutting or any combination thereof.

The cleansing sieve is rotatably mounted in a housing located adjacent to said basal surface. It comprising a plurality of apertures, each of which is accommodating at least one bristle; said sieve is either in a 'close configuration', i.e., fastened in parallel to the basal surface, or in 'open configuration' i.e., being tilted or rotated from said basal surface thus adapted to remove hair or litter from the said basal surface

The present invention includes veterinary utilization. The hairbrush preferably adapted to combing animals, mainly pets. As known from literature, animals' hair has different texture than human hair, and the hair brush is dirty much faster when combing animals than when combing human. Further, the accumulation of parasites and insects in animals' hair is much faster than in human hair, and the need for easily cleansable hair brush is especially in the field of animal treatment.

The hair brush comprising a housing comprising at least two flaps and a pole mounted between them, wherein the pole enables the rotation of said sieve, continuously, in a graded manner or in any combination there.

The hairbrush additionally comprises a mirror, preferably mounted in the hairbrush body.

The cleansable hairbrush additionally comprises of a sound producing device located either in the hairbrush handle or body. Sounds are produced when the brush is handed. Sounds are selected from a variety of human voices, animal voices or music.

Said rotating cleansing sieve is preferably yet not exclusively connected to the hairbrush between the handle and the surface beneath the bristles (i.e., the basal surface). When the sieve is 'closed configuration', the bristles protrude through the spaces of the sieve.

Reference is made for Fig. 1, presenting a schematic section of the hair brush when the cleansing member is 'closed configuration'. The rotating cleansing sieve (30) is fastened to the hair brush between the handle (10) and the body (20).

Reference is made for Fig. 2, presenting a schematic section of the hair brush when the rotating cleansing sieve is 'open configuration'. The spaces of the sieve (30) are more visible and the hair and litter absorbed to the sieve are tangled in these spaces. The bristles are not presented.
